Wikimedia Portugal has a mission to contribute to the general flow of knowledge and culture, through the promotion of gathering, creation and dissemination of content free of usage, modification and distribution restrictions, promoting and supporting Wikimedia Foundation projects like Wikipedia, with emphasis on the languages spoken in Portugal, Portuguese and Mirandese.
